Alpine Infusion has its own portfolio of private ski instructors who are available to book in advance, and Meribel and Courchevel have a wide selection of ski schools for skiers and snowboarders of every level and all age groups. We strongly recommend that you book lessons in advance of your holiday as they are very popular and often have few remaining places available on arrival in resort. This is particularly essential over the school and peak holiday periods.

Magic in Motion Snowsports Academy
Group Lessons with Magic in Motion Snowsports Academy
Delighting clients since 1992, Magic is an independent school owned and run by an Anglo-French team. Their group lessons are conducted in English and are small to ensure optimal attention and motivation. Helmet covers are provided to easily identify children (colour coded by level) and children’s groups are split not only by level, but also by age. For the Little Ones (aged 4-5), they have the safe and secure ‘Magic Garden’ with its own private Magic Carpet (travelator lift) and a chalet with music. There is also a qualified teaching assistant present to assist the instructor for the first few days.
They are proud that their Kids Fun Factory is probably the best-loved product for children: combining 3 or 4 long mornings plus 2 full days with lunch in a mountain restaurant (included in the price), a treasure hunt, timed runs, freestyle and jumps on a bouncy big air bag. Aspiring champions will love the Race Academy where one of the trainers competed in the 2010 Olympics.

New Generation is a British run ski and snowboard school. After a conversation in a French mountain hut in 1998 between four British ski instructors, New Gen was born from the desire to offer something different to the “one size fits all” approach.
They’ve been coaching in the Alps for 15 years and are based in Meribel as well as nine other resorts. All their lessons are in English, and all their groups are small and friendly. All of their instructors are fully qualified and they can teach all levels of skier or boarder. Whether you’re a beginner or an off piste adventurer New Gen can help you progress and get the most out of your holiday. As well as a experienced team of instructors they also have an extensive off snow support team allowing you to book with confidence. 99% of their clients rate them as good or excellent using Feefo (the independent feedback service).
New Gen has a wide range of learning opportunities from private coaching to group lessons. They offer group lessons for adults from beginners to intermediates. For more experienced skiers or boarders they run technical clinics, helping you get off a plateau or fine tune your skills. Or for those looking to improve on the move they offer guided days with tips, both on or off piste.
During school holidays they also offer group lessons for children and teenagers, with a focus on fun.
